In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, all city offices, libraries and facilities will close on Monday, November 11. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12.
Trash and recycling services are not affected by this closure. Residents with service scheduled for Monday should place their containers on the street before 5:30 a.m.

Buckeye is hosting an event for outdoor enthusiasts. Join us for the annual Veterans Day Hike at Skyline Regional Park on Monday, November 11, at 8:30 a.m.
Participants are encouraged to gather at Skyline’s Mountain Wash Trail for a four-mile roundtrip hike to the summit, where an American flag will be posted in honor of those who have served our country - both past and present. Local veterans who wish to carry the flag to the summit should contact Buckeye Community Services at 623-349-6330 or via email at malvarez@buckeyeaz.gov.

Buckeye also will honor our nation's fallen heroes with the unveiling of a Veterans Memorial in Sundance Park on Saturday, November 9, at 4 p.m. The ceremony will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Buckeye Honor Guard.
