Disposal of Surplus or Excess Property
Pursuant to the city of Buckeye Procurement Code, Article 24-4, the city shall have the right to sell, lease, exchange, donate or otherwise dispose of city personal property in the best interest of the city.
The disposal of surplus or obsolete personal property shall be done in as competitive a manner as the procurement agent or authorized designee determines to be practicable including, but not limited to, through competitive sealed bids, public auction, online sales, established markets or posted prices.
Procedures all be prescribed prohibiting the conversion of surplus and obsolete city personal property for personal use by city employees unless the city receives fair market value for such personal property and the personal property is disposed of in a commercially reasonable manner.

Payment: Certified or cashier’s check.
Pick-up: Items must be removed within ten business days (Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) of sale, excluding holidays. Items not removed within time period allowed will be disposed of at city's discretion.

No warranty: There is no warranty relating to title, possession, quiet enjoyment or the like in this disposition. Everything in this sale is being sold "as is, where is", without warranty or guarantee of any kind. All sales are final. The city of Buckeye is not responsible for missing or broken items after the sale. Refunds are never given.
Condition of items sold: The city of Buckeye shall not be responsible for the authenticity or defect in any item, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any imperfection. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse.
The city of Buckeye reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
