In an effort to establish an appropriate plan for the future development of the Buckeye Municipal Airport, the city of Buckeye, has elected to undertake a master plan study for the airport. The master plan study will be a long-term, comprehensive development plan that meets the airport’s unique goals and objectives and complies with all relevant Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements. The study will also seek to address the airport’s operational considerations, development priorities, land use compatibility and factors related to proper financial management to enable the airport to meet operational and capital improvement fiscal needs. This study does not include the property around the airport (Airport Specific Area Plan), only the land on the airport.
