The city of Buckeye welcomes students to discover, experience and explore Aviation STEAM careers through interactive and hands on activities, engaging booths and several opportunities to meet and speak with pilots.
When: Friday, February 14; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Ages: 5th to 12th grade and students interested in Aviation careers.

- Civil Air Patrol
- Hands on Activities: Air Marshalling, Air Traffic Control, Paper Air Planes, Morse Code, Anemometers and Wind Sock Readings and draw your own plane or shuttle mural

- Parachutes - History of parachutes and learn by doing

- Safe Launch Plane Painting

Chaperones: For safety purposes we ask that there is a minimum of one adult per 10 children while touring the site.
Cost: Free with submitted application. You will receive a Parking Via email the week prior. Those who attend without registering will be charged a $15 parking fee per car/bus.
Format: The site is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and those registered can attend during open hours. It is recommended to allow for a minimum of two hours to tour the site, meet pilots and participate in various engaging booths.
Lunch: Students and attendees are responsible for their own lunches. You are welcome to bring lunches and/or purchase lunch from a variety of food vendors who will be on site.
