Volunteers

Event volunteers have played a unique role in the development and creation of the Buckeye Air Fair. Community involvement makes the Buckeye Air Fair possible. This year, approximately 30,000 people will visit the fair to enjoy a fantastic airshow, SciTech kids activities, RC Flyer demonstrations, live entertainment, historical military displays and so much more. Free volunteer parking passes, t-shirts and lunches will be provided.

You can help with:

  • General Event Volunteers: Information booths, parking control, Kids Zone and more
  • Science & Technology Volunteers: Escorting presenters, assist with set. up/breakdown of exhibits and more.
  • Volunteer sign ups will open before the event.

Airside Volunteers

If you have aviation experience and are over 18 years old, join other pilots and aviation enthusiasts serving in either airside or show-side roles: marshalling and parking aircraft, helping at our AOPA VIP tent on the flightline, assisting with event set-up or clean-up or be of service to our exhibitors.

If you are interested in being considered in having your food truck, booth or merchandise booth at the event, please complete the General Vendor Application, by clicking on Application for the online form, or by downloading our fillable PDF Form.

Please note, that submitting an application does not guarantee a space at the event. All chosen vendors will be contacted when approved.

The Aviation Academy in partnership with Arizona SciTech invites students from 5th to 12th grade to explore aviation STEAM through interactive and hands on activities, engaging booths, and opportunities to meet and speak with pilots.

If you are bringing a plane, or selling any aviation related items, you must sign up through AOPA vendors form, which will be opening soon.

AOPA Vendors

Become a vendor with AOPA. Pilots and aircraft owners will be eager to not only see, but also learn and buy! They’ll be hungry for the latest information on new aircraft, avionics, flight planning tools, safety resources and aviation services. Exhibitor registration can be found at www.aopa.org. For more information please email: exhibits@aopa.org.
