The intent of this policy is to communicate the council’s pension funding objectives and its commitments to our employees and the found financial management of the city of Buckeye and to comply with statutory requirements of Arizona Rev. Stat. §38-863.01, as amended. It is the policy of the city of Buckeye to accept its share of the assets and liabilities under the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) based on the system’s actuarial valuation report. This Policy shall be updated annually.
