The Southwest Regional Landfill is owned by the Buckeye Pollution Control Corporation and operated by Republic Services.

Located in the southernmost portion of Buckeye and 10 miles south of the Gila River on the east side of State Route 85, the landfill continues to provide services to the Buckeye community and will for many years to come.

The residential rate for city of Buckeye trash customers is $12.64 for the first 600 pounds, anything more than 600 pounds is charged $38.88 per ton. A copy of a utility bill and an ID is needed to prove residency and current solid waste service.
