A Walk Down Memory Lane
We invite all community members, artists and non-artists alike, to share childhood artwork for a unique community exhibit. We'll showcase pieces from children, teens and adults side-by-side, creating a visual journey through the decades. Downtown Buckeye businesses are now hosting these displays, transforming our city into a Walk Down Memory Lane.
These pieces will be voted on in the following three categories:
- Best Use of Color
- Most Creative
- The Wow Factor
The Arts & Culture Subcommittee will judge the pieces and winners will be announced during Cotton Fest. Each category will have a first, second and third place prize.
To encourage visitors to explore the artwork, we are offering a passport where viewers can collect stickers from each shop they visit. Those who fill more than eight spaces will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a prize ($100). Anyone who enters art or completes the raffle will be given a coupon swag bag which will also contain some activities for our younger generations.
The swag bag will feature stickers, scratch art, painting materials, bookmarks and much more! Swag bags will even include promotional items from downtown businesses displaying the artwork. To grab your swag bag visit the following locations:
- Cotton Blessings
- La Placita
- Powers-Leavitt
- Pronto Tax and Notary Services
